Our Team
Steve Kent, Director & Owner
Steve obtained his HND in Civil Engineering in 1979. He has worked on countless construction projects from roads and bridges to development of deep mines. At Selby he was part of a production record breaking team in the construction of one of the deep mine shafts at Whitemoor Mine. Steve started Kent Building Developments Ltd in 2003 where his technical expertise and management skills have enabled the company to offer a quality service in design and construction.
Sam Benson, Assistant Contracts Manager
Sam has been with Kent Building Developments Ltd since January 2005. He has obtained his NVQ level 3 qualifications and amongst other training courses in safety and management he recently attended a Site Management Safety Training Scheme. As the Assistant Contracts Manager, Sam is responsible for site safety and the smooth running of building projects.

Lesley Waters, Administrator
Lesley has worked with Kent Building Developments Ltd since March 2012. She is a part time, self-employed administrator. Starting out as a scientist, she has worked in Academia in the UK & USA and Biotechnology Companies in USA & the NL. After returning to the UK in 2001 and holding various managerial positions in local companies she started her own business in 2010.
